Suddenly, France pushed her away, and backed away from her.

"I.." was all he could muster the courage to say, before he ran out of the room, down the stairs, and back out onto the beach, before taking off farther down the shoreline, in need of some time alone.

She just smiled. She knew he needed some time alone, she respected that. She just decided to lay there until she fell asleep.

France sat down on the beach, and let the tears he'd been holding in slide down his now soaked face. When he'd ran outside it had started to rain.

"I'm.. so confused." he murmured.

She slept alone, wishing he was by her side. But, just to know that he may love her, was good enough. She smiled as she slept, despite the fact that he wasn't there.

France just honestly couldn't take it anymore. Just being a few feet from her killed him. And so, like a sick lost puppy, he ran back..

"Ireland.. " he whispered, walking back into the house, dripping wet and shivering.

"France." she said in her sleep, dreaming of corny things like him holding her next to the beach on a sunset, in a field of flowers, kissing.

France soon found her, muttering his own name in her sleep. He smiled at her small, petite sleeping form, and threw a blanket over her, taking his own place in the love seat that was positioned next to her, and fell asleep himself.

When Ireland woke up, she had noticed France beside her. Without asking questions, she wrapped her arms around him, and snuggled up to him...
